Settling an estate is already one of the most stressful experiences a family can face. The last thing you need is financial paperwork that's confusing, incomplete, or rejected by the court. He Liu, CPA has provided probate accounting services to families and estate attorneys across Virginia, Georgia, and Florida for over two decades — helping executors fulfill their duties with accuracy and confidence.
Who We Work With
We work directly with families, executors, and estate attorneys. If you are an attorney looking for a reliable CPA to refer your probate clients to, we welcome the conversation. We serve clients remotely across Virginia, Georgia, and Florida.
What We Handle
We prepare the formal accounting records required by probate courts, including:
• Inventory of estate assets
• Receipts and disbursements tracking
• Accounting for income earned during administration
• Final distribution schedules
• Estate and trust tax returns (Form 1041)
• Gift tax returns when applicable
Whether the estate is straightforward or involves a business, real estate, or complex assets, we have the experience to handle it correctly.
I started Rui Accounting & Tax Services because I believe small business owners and families deserve the same quality of financial guidance that large companies get — without the impersonal experience that comes with a big firm. When you work with me, you work with me directly. I know my clients by name, I understand their businesses, and I'm here year-round — not just at tax time.
I have been a licensed CPA in Virginia since 2002, and I am also an IRS Enrolled Agent — which means I am federally authorized to represent clients before the IRS in audits and disputes. Over more than two decades, I have helped over 150 clients with everything from monthly bookkeeping and payroll to probate accounting, IRS audit representation, and specialized licensing such as alcohol permits.
My clients are primarily small business owners in Virginia, Georgia, and Florida, and I serve most of them remotely — so wherever you are, you get the same responsive, personal service.
This practice is built to last. My two children are studying accounting and working toward their own credentials — with plans to join the firm in the years ahead. My goal is to build something that serves my clients not just today, but for the long term.
